Course Description

This unique four-year program is for individuals who hope to develop a career working with children in a health-related profession. What is unique about Child Health at Brock? This degree is the only one of its kind in Canada Draws on the strengths of the departments of Community Health Sciences and Child and Youth Studies Designed to meet the needs of students interested in the health, wellness, and development of children and adolescents. Fourth year internships allow you to gain practical experience in a health- related profession of your choice primarily concerned with children. Students have opportunities to become research assistants and to participate in faculty supervised independent studies This degree is the only one of its kind in Canada and draws on the strengths of the Departments of Community Health Sciences and Child and Youth Studies to provide a degree designed to meet the needs of students interested in the health, wellness, and development of children and adolescents.
