Course Description

The Acting major is a fixed progression of classes that stresses the development of physical and vocal techniques and skills, as well as encouraging the growth of the imagination. The prescribed nature of the curriculum prepares students for careers in all aspects of the professional world of theatre and the related media of film and television. Students choosing this major not only identify themselves primarily as theatre performers, but seek the structure of the BFA Acting course load, knowing it is the best format for them to develop both artistically and academically.
