Course Description

In recent years there has been a large increase in the amount of road vehicles with complex electrical systems which include Bluetooth, ABS, Engine management and Airbags as a result of there is a huge demand for auto electrician technicians in garages. At Blackburn College we have the latest snap on diagnostic fault finding equipment to train you and help you undertake these challenges to be the best in the industry. This IMI Awards Level 1 course covers the technical needs for todays motor vehicle repair industry. It provides essential knowledge for auto-electricians working on vehicles in the workshop. From September 2014 you will be able to study in our brand new £5.5 million Regional Automotive Technology Hub. The workshops incorporate a real life garage environment and MOT station where you will work with up-to-date professional equipment on a range of modern vehicles. We have strong links with North West dealerships, including Nissan, Skoda, VW Audi and BMW.
