This course is an introduction to the area of Health & Social Care. The qualification consists of 4 core units and 4 optional units plus a period of work experience. There is a strong practical focus across all units and clear links between lessons in college and activities performed whilst on work placement.

The course provides an excellent pathway on to a Level 3 Health and Social Care programme if you achieve a Merit or Distinction and a level 2 English qualification. A further option is to access an Apprenticeship programme.
