The programme is distinctive in that it allows students to develop their scientific knowledge and laboratory/practical skills relating to the animal industry, in particular the livestock production industry. The delivery of the programme allows integration of the theoretical knowledge and the practical applications within the industry.

Extensive hands-on experience with cows, pigs, sheep and horses and the opportunity to study dogs, cats, rodents, rabbits, cavies and exotic species.
