It’s official – we are a Good College! In May 2013 Aylesbury College was awarded a grade of ‘Good’ by Ofsted (The Office for Standards in Education). We are very proud of this recognition and how well it reflects on the high quality of teaching and learning at the College. Ofsted’s report commented on how effectively the College supports and serves students, employers and the local community. You can read the report by clicking here It is reassuring for all of our students to know that the College will provide them with excellent education and training. This is particularly important for young people considering what to do at 16+. The law has changed – the Government is calling this Raising the Participation Age – and young people now have to stay in education or training at least until they are eighteen. For many people College will offer the best option – we offer a wide range of full-time and part-time courses from entry to degree level plus bespoke employer programmes and Apprenticeships. We are sure we have the right course for you. Aylesbury College is very focused on preparing people for work; all of our students learn real work skills from dedicated staff who are experts in their field. Our courses are developed with both students and their future employers in mind. In our most recent student survey 97% of respondents said that the College meets their expectations and 98% believe their course meets their needs. The College is situated in purpose-built learning environment which is designed and run as a modern business. It is a safe and welcoming place to study where students are supported and encouraged to take responsibility for their learning. Our students regularly tell us that they find College a refreshing change from school with a completely different atmosphere and approach. We call this stepping into the real world – so come and see what the College has to offer.
