Founded in 1878, Ashland University is a mid-sized private institution with 2,200 undergraduate students and a total enrollment of nearly 6,000, and this includes graduate programs as well as off-campus centers in Cleveland, Columbus, Elyria, Mansfield, Massillon, Medina, Westlake, Southwest Ohio/Cincinnati and Detroit, Mich.
