Course Description

Computational science is a field in which computational simulation and modeling of systems are used to solve problems in engineering, natural and social sciences. Students in this program will take foundation courses in mathematics and computer science and choose application areas based on their interests. The application areas include biology, chemistry, computer science, economics, environmental studies, finance, mathematics, physics, psychology, and statistics. Although not required, many students will have a minor or a double major in the application area.
